Frequently Asked Questions

The Staff of the Crete Golf Club pride themselves on being able to help every Golfer who wishes to have a game during their stay on the island. Just because you have arrived without your clubs, do not let that put you off. Likewise, if you do not have anyone to play with,  call the Club directly and we will do everything we can to find you a suitable partner.

• CAN I HIRE CLUBS AT THE CLUB?
Yes, of course you can. Crete Golf Club has a large stock of quality hire clubs, both for right and left-handed golfers.

• WHAT ABOUT SHOES?
We do not hire out shoes but we do stock a large selection of shoes in our well-equipped Pro Shop. As an added bonus, if you buy a pair of shoes, we will give you a FREE sleeve of three Titleist golf balls to use on the golf course.

• I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO PLAY WITH, WHAT CAN I DO?
Once you book your Tee - Time please mention that you would like to play with someone else. According to your handicap you will be joined by other golfers.

• DOES THE CLUB RUN COMPETITIONS?
The Club does run Competitions for the Members, which are also open for their guests and visitors. 

• DO YOU HAVE CARTS?
We have 65 carts which you can use if you want to. However, they are not obligatory. Feel free to walk and enjoy the Cretan nature.

• I'M THINKING OF TAKING UP GOLF. CAN I GET SOME LESSONS WHILE I'M ON THE ISLAND ?
